I tend to agree with you, though, as there's non-zero risk of death
and decapitation with every action or even failure to take action that
anyone comes up. Risk-free is, like bug-free, a goal and not a state.

So I'll amend my statement, in your honor: "It's the least risky
way you can help smash the MPAA! DeCSS: low-impact software for the
armchair revolutionary."
