By voting you get to enjoy the wonderful sense of having been *collectively*
passed by. You get to be one of the gang, and leave behind your adolescent
infatuation with being different, or somehow exempt from membership in the
polis that gives you life.

You're on the bus with the rest of us bozos. Why delude yourself via
intricate games of logic (note how this thread has quickly degenerated into
that circle jerk) that you are not really here with everyone else?

One enters the monastery not to get away from everyone else, but to be
closer to them.
