natural desires... just to do his job.  

Yes, it's Big Time Politics, and the Poser Statesmen are rather frightened
hostage (& sellout) to Election for Dollars... and cowards pray in vain
"to be proved wrong"... fillibuster, or liberty-buster... 

... but it's a near-beer of comic-relief.
