I wasn't clear.  Mea culpa.

What I wanted to know was whether Jeff had some "official" thoughts on
the topic before I began directly soliciting funds from defcon goers (who
appear eager to help as soon as we've got some place to point them).

On a related topic, are any of the 2600 people on board yet?  I'd be happy
to figure out how to set up a defense fund this afternoon, but I'd rather
rely on someone who's done it before.
