To say nothing of the authors published by Baen Books, which has been
publishing electronic books on the web for years. But not in weird
proprietary formats designed to prevent such crimes as moving your book to
your laptop, or your Palm Pilot, or changing the font. Just in plain old
HTML.

Unlike publishers skittering around fretting about "digital rights
management", Baen is actually making money at this. You'd think publishers
would observe and learn, rather than throwing millions of dollars down a
rathole.
