Definitely.  In addition to trying to enlist the support of various
libertarian groups, I've been talking it up with various people involved
in drug-policy reform.  Response has been mixed.  I've gotten a few
comments along the lines of, "That's a stupid law, and I wish you the best
of luck getting one innocent man out of prison -- but as you're aware,
there are other stupid laws that have thousands of innocent people in
prison."  (A point which it's hard for me to deny.)  But I've also gotten
a few nibbles from people who have been concerned enought to spare a few
moments and take action.  If you're respected in particular "non-geek"
circles, I can't overstate the value of letting other members of those
circles know that you're concerned about this case -- and, more
importantly, why.  They'll get over it being "off-topic" long before
Dmitry gets out of prison.
