Often called the greatest music ever written, the Mass in B minor is
also the Bach Choir's most popular repertory work. Its highly
contrasting extremes of form and mood make this musical monument a
magnificent summation of the North German baroque style. With a
lifelong immersion in this rich tradition, director David Babbitt
brings a depth of creative expression to every performance. Join us
as we explore this exhilarating and ever-revealing masterpiece.

I'm hoping to go to both of these. (I heard the San Francisco Bach
Choir perform the Mass in B minor a couple of years ago; it was
fantastic!) The Noe Venable concert is $12 and the Bach concert is
$22. In order to hear both, I'd have to go to the Bach performance
on Sunday afternoon.
