09:45   Starbucks Coffee, Tea, Bagels, and Pastries

10:00 - 12:00   CH Ting  ---  ARM7 Meta-Compiler, Instruction Set and 
Assembler.
Ting reports that he has successfully ported a direct-threaded eForth to 
the Analog Devices' ADuC7024 MicroConverter. A faster version of subroutine 
threaded eForth has also been implemented. Now ARM7 eForth is ready for 
prime time. Ting will discuss the ARM7 instruction set. assembler, and 
Meta-Compiler and the differences between the two eForth implementations.

12:00 - 1:00    LUNCH

1:00 - 1:20  Introductions, Rumors, Gossip

1:20 - 2:20   LaFarr Stuart  --- Antique Math - It's Still Fresh!
LaFarr says,  "I will explain the mathematics behind something many have 
only heard about: 'Casting out Nines' which is but a small application of 
the mathematics from Number Theory most engineers have no knowledge of - 
even though it is simple."
LaFarr may be casting out nines, elevens and perhaps some other integers.

3:00 - 4:00    Planning and Plotting
     We'll discuss the upcoming Forth Day and the possibility of a 
presence at VCF-2004

        -- We've been meaning to tromp through Fry's with a pack of 
n'er-do-wells to look at the huge photos of technology history in the 
valley and the memorabilia (Klystron from the DEW Line, Apple 1 computer 
...)  then a beer at the St. Johns?  Maybe a little dinner with your 
beer?  Maybe they have tea there?

Future meetings :
        Driving Simulator - Dave Jaffe
Dave will talk about a project he is working on at the VA. A driving 
simulator is being used to evaluate and improve the driving ability of 
individuals after they have had a brain injury. He will discuss the design 
and development of road courses and get into the underlying TCL software 
capabilities.
        Al Mitchell has sent his regrets for this month but promises to 
tell us about Ethernet Gadgets soon.
        DARPA Desert Race? , tour of Computer History Museum at new digs?
        What are your ideas?  If you don't tell us right away, we're going 
to have more of those ugly "what do we do now" brainstorming sessions.
