When he gets a chance Kyle will survey the room looking for possible hidden camera's and listning devices.  (OOC: a long shot I know but hey he is a bit paranoid).  He will also see if it is possible to exit the room via a porthole/window. (OOC: I can remember if you said the rooms were about the water line.)  If it is possile he will poke his head out assess the possiblity of getting up on deck that way to have a look around.
