Talas smiles at Amanda and says "A reporter? So then
Lady Amanda, I take it that means that you report the
activitys of this party to a patron?"

When Alex hears the name "reporter', she thinks of the
people used by the coalition to create stories. The
'Coalition is a nice happy place' types. She gets a
wry expression on her face but does not respond

[Amanda Connors]
"No, I don't report to anyone right now.  I might if I
ever get home, but I don't know if they'd give me a
wrap-around jacket or not."

Amanda noted the look on Alex's face, but it wasn't
clear what it meant.  Later might be a better time to
ask what the joke was.
