> Talas Follows Kyle into the nearby shop and quietly stands back and
> listens as Kyle speaks to the shopkeeper.

> [Amanda Connors]
> Having followed/lead (depending on your point of view) everyone else

> "Talas, since he's not likely to know, I'm a reporter. As to my
> talents, this isn't the best place to get into it." It didn't even
> register that the man wasn't likely to know what a reporter is.

> [Talas]
> Talas smiles at Amanda and says "A reporter? So then Lady Amanda, I
> take it that means that you report the activities of this party to a

> [/Talas]
> [Alex]
> When Alex hears the name "reporter", she thinks of the people used by

> [Amanda Connors]
> "No, I don't report to anyone right now. I might if I ever get home,
> but I don't know if they'd give me a wrap-around jacket or not."
>
> Amanda noted the look on Alex's face, but it wasn't clear what it
> meant. Later might be a better time to ask what the joke was.
>
> Then she turned her attention back to the conversation about Griz,
> while quietly searching out the other shops and people within sight.
>
> "Man in white robes. Sounds a little like the guy that showed up on
> the ship, then vanished. I think all the players may be on the field
> people. Anyone know the score?"
> [/Amanda Connors]
[Bongo]
"I'm afraid to keep track!" Bongo laughs. "We're still alive, so I'd say
that's a pretty good start."
Bongo turns to the shopkeeper. "Do you know where this man went?" he asks.
[/Bongo]
[GM]
The shopkeeper shrugs. "I can't say for certain," he says, "though it
seems to me he went walking across the street, and up towards the East
Gate. That's why I wonder whether he was some faerie or phantom made
by them."
