[Taocow PBEM] Chapter III - This Ain't No Luxury Liner - Rod and Osiris's Adventures on the Bridge

Osiris's opponent fails to parry the leg sweep and Osiris's psi-sword hits. 
The green-suited figure falls forward.

Osiris, now holding the advantage, sweeps up from low to high.  The other
swordsman seems to be getting the feel of Osiris's swordplay and the
runesword jumps up, blocking Osiris's blow.  The two swords, psi-sword
burning brightly and black runesword with ghostly glowing runes, are locked
in a balance.  Suddenly the swordfighter lashes out with a solid armored
foot, trying to kick Osiris back.  Osiris easily jumps out of the way.

> Rod whips his kinetic hammer out and attempts to whack the guy in the head
> while muttering, "We don't need this kind of distraction".

The swordsman sees Rod moving in, and rather than use the runesword, tries
to grab Rod's arm, but isn't fast enough.  Rod's hammer strikes the figure
in the head.  The swordsman stumbles back, clearly a disoriented by Rod's
strike.
