OOC: Okay, it appears that the failed mailing was my fault. This

[GM]
Ted easily tosses the creature off, flinging it into the snow with all
his strength. The creature shudders briefly and the moves no more.

[GM]
Lady Frost's ice shards strike the cloud, but are absorbed. There is
a slight lightening of the cloud's color, but it would seem that it
would take a good deal of pummeling before the cloud being could be
damaged.

[GM]
Off in the distance, Lady Frost can barely see the shape of a pyramid,
and the faintest bit of bluish light.

[GM]
A circle of flame erupts around Talas, and the creatures back away,
clearly unwilling to enter the flames. At that same moment, the man
with Osiris charges forward and opens fire on the creatures. Two of
the creatures go down, cut through by an energy weapon. A third shot
goes awry.

[GM]
There is a visible shudder in the ground, and a high-pitched wail, and
suddenly the cloud is gone. Almost immediately the weather begins to
clear, and now there is a clear view of the pyramid. A shape is seen
fleeing it, running towards a ley line.

[GM]
The view becomes clearer. It is a bloodied man, tied to a post. His
features are obscured, but Alex and Bongo can clearly see a couple of
tattoos.

"Lishun!" one of them cries over the snow storm. "Have your friend we
have, and life or death is your decision."
