[Taocow PBEM] Chapter XI - Dissension in the Ranks

Ted's covering fire forces the Deadboy's to keep their heads down.  A
couple of shots hit their targets, but more are flooding through.
More windows smash above, ropes dropping through and within moments a
half a dozen Deadboys are rappelling to the floor.  Both Alex and
Bongo recognize these as being special ops trained specifically for
Old Chicago.

> Carlos unslings his rifle, fires a few shots at the Dead boys, then dives down the stairs.

Carlos manages to hit one of the Deadboys, blasting the fellow back a
few feet against a wall.

The Deadboys seem taken aback as the icy wall is built before their
very eyes.  In short order they begin blasting at the wall, melting
holes in it.  It's clear that the wall will not hold much longer.
More distant crashes can be heard, the unmistakable sounds of large
bots approaching.  It appears the Coalition is taking no chances this
time.

> Talas tells Alex that he has so minor healing skills. And uses 'Healing touch' on
> Phaeton.

[GM]
Phaeton's cuts and bruises fade away, but it is still very clear that
he has is suffering some serious internal injuries.
