As far as Alex understands, Ted is not that much different than a
      mutant lizard cooked up in a Lone Star lab. She considers them
      people just like she did the dog boys of her former team. 
As such, it makes no sense that killing the demon will kill Ted. 
Besides, how many people has this monster killed.
Alex taks no pleasure in this and there is a grim set to her
      visage if one can see under her helmet but it does not it stop
      her. She continues attacking
