Alex grabs the nearest fire extinguisher and sprays the orb [Strike:
28], as Veronique attempts to draw off its energy. Veronique's attack
has something of an effect, the orb seems to grow darker, to the color
of a glowing embers, and the smell of sulfur grows weaker. Alex's
attack is more startling, the CO2 turns the orb black, it wobbles in
the air a bit and then falls to the ground with a loud "clang!"
