My apologies!

So the quick run around is this:

Ted is still held captive by the weird orb. Alex and Vesper are free of 
its psychic hold, while Lady Veronique watches the orb disappear 
somewhere else in the hold. Both Alex and Vesper are freed of the 
psychic hold with strange and seemingly meaningless fact that "Unit 
7442" can reverse the portal that the orb commands. They of course have 
no idea what or who Unit 7442 is.

Meanwhile Oz is restarting the reactor, and as he steps past a humanoid 
robot with a large hole in its chest, he happens to notice that it is 
"Unit 7442", not that that means anything to him.

And the reactor is restarting soon, and Vesper, Alex and Veronique have 
all guessed that it sucks energy, of which a lot is about to be made 
available.
