The old man is clearly defeated. He turns to Ted. "You've seen where
the other end leads. It is a hell hole! I was told by the crew of this
sea vessel that the Splugorth had invaded your land. Imagine sucking
up those great armies and depositing them in a hopeless bleak
dimension, and you control the key to their escape!"

The old man does not make any violent moves at all. "Do not destroy
it! It is a mighty weapon. You will doom your world to domination!"
