An interesting twist for the battlecruiser, this Brutix is like a larger sig radius Thorax with a hell of an armor repair bonus as per your battlecruiser skill. The Brutix is the most streamlined of all the tier 1 battlecruisers in purity of design and purpose.
It's not terribly popular, but it can tank and dish out damage extremely well.
- Battlecruiser Skill Bonus: 5% bonus to Medium Hybrid Turret damage and 7.5% bonus to Armor Repairer effectiveness per level
- Role Bonus: 99% reduction in the CPU need of Warfare Link modules.

Heavy Tank PvP Blaster Brutix

This is probably the most natural Brutix setup in terms of its bonuses, grid and tank. Ideally you want an injected dual-repper tank, and that means using electrons in the highs. While this doesn't do as much dps as a gank Brutix, it's steady in the 400 dps range and you can basically tank forever until your cargo hold runs out of cap booster 800s. That gives you a huge margin of error in pvp.

Designed to be an 'expendable' ship with all T1 fittings. The idea is to run the SAR constantly (while needed) and spurt the MAR. The cap booster really helps to maintain your cap. Unfortunately, the small nos is sort of just an afterthought, lacking enough grid for another weapon. Even so, every little bit helps.
The Mittani's Sniping Brutix

This takes Adv Weapon Upgrades to fit, but if you go with the t1 version of this setup and replace the SAR II with another RCU or a PDS everything should mesh nicely, even with low skills.
This setup is intended to be used as part of a GoonBlob(tm), thus it has no tank. You will need to warp out if you get called primary, otherwise you're toast... but odds are if there are battleships in your gang, your Brutix will be way down on the target list.
The joy of this fitting is mashing F1-F7 and watching volleys of antimatter M shoot out to 30km, or up to 75+km with iron. If you use Spike M, hilarity will ensue. Basically, the combination of a ship damage bonus plus a full rack of MFS mods and 7 highslots means you can hit like a truck at long range in a fully insurable ship with relatively cheap fittings.

MWD into orbit range and begin the rape. You can put out something insane like 500dps with T2 ammo. You can also replace one of the blasters with a cloak for a pretty nice solo cockfagging ship.
Dhannik's Ratting Brutix

- 2x cap recharger

- Active thermal hardener

You'll have more cap than anything and be able to tank very well and with the dual armor repairer you can easily repair any holes you made while slowboating to get close to the spawn to open up with blasters.

Alex Burgess's Angel Rapeix

Much like Dhannik's , you'll have cap for days. This should be a DPS beast compared to the ion set up. Works with 2x rep as well, but Ive never needed it as you should eat through the spawns fast enough. Ive taken triple Malakims in it, just keep an eye on rep and cap.
Alternatively Dhannik's set up works well with an AB to save grid and a magnetic field stab down low to help the little ion get more pew pew.
Telefishopolis' Level 3 Mission Brutix
- 7x 200mm Railgun

- 2x Mission-specific Hardeners (pref. N-Type)

Your optimal with Antimatter in the rails is around 10KM, which is where cruiser rats like to hang around in L3 missions. Since you have so many deadspace areas, the traditional rush in and fuck em up Brutix fit doesn't work so well, since you can't fit an MWD. Some missions will have interceptors with webs and scrams, bring light drones in that case. Mediums have trouble tracking those guys.
If you have omg leet cap skillz, you can trade the cap relay for another hardener. Even if you don't, you could switch a rail for a medium nos. Also, if you have engineering V, you can easily switch the RCU out for a PDS.
The tl;dr Brutix Miner

With Drones 5, Drone Interfacing 3, Mining Drone Op 2, Mining 4 and Astrogeology 3 you can pull in 40 crok / minute.
That's nearly as much as an Apoc, in a ship that costs 1/3 as much and gets excellent insurance return. Best used in mining ops or herds, since you have no tank whatsoever.
Only problem is that the Brutix doesn't have enough cargo room to suck in 7 miner II's worth of crok per cycle. So you have cycle your lasers (turn on half, and then turn on the other half in 30 seconds) and then keep dumping your ore into your can every 30 seconds instead of every 1-2 minutes. Not for those with ADD!
It's pretty easy to tank Judgement with the following:
- EM Armor Compensation III
- 1600mm Rolled Tungsten Plate
- EANM II
- Armor EM Hardener II
You'll end up with around 1100 armor HP left, enough to give you a buffer to rep up before the enemy fleet jumps back in.
