Subject: GPL'd code misappropriation, film at 11
But wait! There's more! Theo de Raadt calling someone "mean".
Not your usual corporate flunky misappropriating GPLd code into
proprietary software at EvilCo[tm]. OpenBSD taking a Broadcom
(EvilCo[tm] incarnate, this week) driver from Linux. Linux dev calling
them on it.
Oh, and the obsd driver doesn't actually work yet. So clearly the
poison _can't_ be in the goblet in front of you. Wait, no, wrong movie.
The Inquirer is so shaken by events they forget to apply their special
"sauce".
Hilarity ensues.
Soon to be a major motion picture.

Clear copyright violation followed closely by hilarious
passive-aggressive posturing from Mr. Sensitive is a "beautiful thing"?
Perhaps I didn't get the memo.

I'm just posting from the twisted perspective of Theo "the puppy dies"
de Raadt, as Paul said.
I have read comments on undeadly.org that try to spin the situation
around and put the blame on the original driver developers in ways
much worse than mine, strong name calling and all. There really isn't
anything to say here except to assert the fact that Theo trying to
give anyone moral lessons on inter-developer attitudes -- or
inter-project, as the case came to represent -- is pathetic.

Your guerrilla street theatre provoked controversy and challenged our
assumptions. Thanks for your courageous and emotionally hazardous
performance.
