A mis-understanding about the word "Linus" prompted this exchange.

Maybe there should be an Open Source Christmas. Where the company tells
Charlie Brown to get the biggest operating system around....
He ends up getting Unix, because "I think it needs me." Everyone makes
fun of him, but Linus says "It isn't such a bad operating system." It
ends with everyone embracing it, and standing in front of Snoopy's
dog-house singing "Come Along and Share the Software."
=======================================================================
I told Nick that would set the scene for memorable re-workings of Charlie
Brown's dialogue.
"I've got a new operating system. But I'm not happy."
[Reading a flier]: "Find the true meaning of computing? Spend
money, money, money?"
"Rats. Even my own dog has gone commercial!"
"I'm not going to let commercialism ruin my operating system..."
Ultimately, there'd be room to re-work other scenes, like where Linus
confronts his older sister.
Linus: "Why should I use Windows? Give me one good reason?"
Answer: "I'll give you five good reasons. [Making fist.] One, two,
three, four, five."
And, of course, Steve Case addressing the group at Mozilla.Org.
"It's the spirit of the developers that counts! Am I right? I
said, am I right?"
It would end, of course, with Linus giving a stirring speech about all
that is good, and pure, and holy. Then saying:
"That's what the open source software movement is all about,
Charlie Brown."
