	Here's my basis:

	SVLUG stopped meeting at Carl's Jr. shortly before the Mozilla
meeting (actually, I think it was for ESR's visit).
	The Mozilla meeting was the day the code was released (Mar 1
or the day immediately prior).

	But the real reason why I'm pretty sure that it wasn't 1996 is
that I remember seeing Art Tyde baffle you with it, and I only started
attending LUGs in the summer of 1997.
