It's quite expensive, and loud, though. Audio I/O is trivial with 
OSS/ALSA, you get good and cheap enough video with a quickcam (or can 
take a real framegrabber, if you need the whole hog), only one of the 
ports is a FastEthernet with a DEC Tulip, and you're quite off the 
Intel/AMD mainstream channel with a StrongARM (it's isn't even
politically correct anymore, since coming from Intel). Though you 
can't beat the footprint, the power demands (and certainly the 
coolness factor!) of a 'winder with a well-stuffed K6-2/3 Linux 
box, it's noticeably cheaper, and has much fewer built-in limitations.

It's always risky not to use commodity components, imo.
