I wonder what office in the state of California is the right place to
send a complaint that Stanford is not in fact a legitimate non-profit
institution, but only a tax dodge for companies in the early stages
of R&D.  Maybe the California Franchise Tax Board will raid them.

I ran into Larry Page at a swanky conference and said, "So, I hear you
guys are getting a patent..." and he got all DEFENSIVE. What a spineless
weasel, doing something he knows is morally wrong, bad for the economy
and the environment, and just plain fucked-up in general, just to kiss
venture capitalist ass.
