Subject: [DeCSS] MPAA Anti-Piracy Notice

We received today an e-mail from MPAA Anti-Piracy Unit demanding
removal of DeCSS from Cryptome:

   http://cryptome.org/dvd-mpaa-ccd.htm

It cites the DMCA and the New York and California injunctions:

  "If you are bound by an injunction, maintaining the DeCSS utility 
   on your system or network violates the above injunction[s] and 
   risks court sanctions for contempt.

The letter is on MPAA letterhead and unsigned, just "Sincerely, 
Motion Picture Association of America."

Anyone else get this invitation?
