Any time you want, I'll take you around to the good places to shop for
food in the valley. AND we could ride bikes to most of it ( my range these
days is Los Altos to Palo Alto, then I get tired). While I could find just
about anything I needed for a meal in SF, the transportation of myself
plus shopping bags sucked, even with a car. 
 
You'll eat better down here if you cook for yourself. Restaurants down
here, while not all completely sucky, don't have the whip
of the high SF standards. Chris will no longer let me sit facing the
kitchen when we eat out - I guess all the grimacing disturbs him...  If you
actually enjoy cooking, you can rediscover the pleasure of having people
over for dinner. Yes you have to wash the dishes, but no goddamned
waiters.
