I use screen already. Not what I meant though. In X, I can monitor two
processes, each running a different terminal. One terminal is above the
other. I dont have to switch between the two periodically to see what's
happening.

I use screen on things such as Sun console (on a 40 mhz SS2) , where I
can't get to virtual terminals and do not run X.
