Don, would you like to format this in LaTeX, print it on a laser
printer, and mail it to San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District,
P.O. Box 12688, Oakland, CA 94606-2688, ATTN: Public Records Officer?
Or would you like to try to get me to do it? (It would be my third
CPRA request. Each of the others resulted in relatively interesting
information I didn't know before making the request.)
Extra points if you replace "sec." with the section symbol (the one
that looks kind of like a path integral).

To Whom it May Concern:
Under the California Public Records Act (Cal. Gov. Code sec. 6250
et seq.), I request a copy of the following:
- Any BART policy documents describing procedures for licensing
copyrighted materials in general for use, duplication, or adaptation
by members of the general public.
- Any BART policy documents governing license terms for computer software
provided by BART to the general public.
- Any letters, memoranda, or e-mail messages discussing the licensing
terms of QuickPlanner.
- To the extent permitted by Cal. Gov. Code sec. 6254.9, any source
code, specifications, project proposals, solicitations of bids,
contracts, purchase orders, implementation notes, or documentation
produced in the development of QuickPlanner.
"QuickPlanner" refers to the BART QuickPlanner for PalmOS software
available for download from the BART web site at
http://www.bart.gov/stations/palmPlanner/download.asp
As provided by statute, I am willing to pay a reasonable duplication
fee for this information. Please advise me if duplication costs
associated with this request would be unusually large.
Thank you very much for your assistance.
Sincerely,
