one word: reviews


if I write a review of a movie, even if I do it for money, I'd be VERY
surprised if I can't include a few shots, quotes and other excerpts.
now one way to see it (I don't say it's the right one, but it certainly
is consistent) is that about.com is using excerpts in a review-style
way. it's clearer on slashdot, where the wording is more verboose
("there's an article [link]here talking about ...") but the principle
is the same, isn't it?
