The following is a reply from my congressman:

Thank you for contacting my office to express your views on the case of
Dmitry Sklyarov.  I appreciate hearing from you.

Mr. Sklyarov and his company, Elcomsoft Co. Ltd., were indicted on August
28, 2001 on charges of violating the Digital Millenium Copyright Act
(DMCA).  Although this case has just recently entered the courts, it is
widely expected to reach the highest levels of the United States Justice
system.  At present, Congress has no pending legislation that would amend
or repeal the DMCA, but this case will be watched closely in the coming
months to assess the impact of this legislation.
