FREE IN BAY AREA PARKS JULY 4 - SEPTEMBER 2, 2002

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - The world-renowned San Francisco Mime Troupe
unfolds its 41st Summer Season with Mr. Smith Goes to Obscuristan, an

 11th and their aftermath.

The Mime Troupe play will be performed in indoor venues across northern
California and free in Bay Area parks from July 4th through Labor Day.
Written by Josh Kornbluth, author and star of Red Diaper Baby, the play
examines how quickly democratic ideals are discarded when there is money
involved. The world premiere is 2 pm Thursday,
July 4th at Dolores Park in San Francisco. Live jazz starts at 1:30
