meet Siva Vaidhyanathan, author of Anarchist in the Library: How the Clash
Between Freedom of Control is Hacking the Real World and Crashing the System
(Basic Books, May 2004) and Larry Lessig, EFF Board member and author of
FREE CULTURE: How Big Media Uses Technology and the Law to Lock Down Culture
and Control Creativity (The Penguin Press; March 2004).

Professors Lessig and Vaidhyanathan will offer remarks and sign copies of
their books, which will be available for purchase at the event.  For more

>From San Francisco:

>From San Francisco on Highway 280
Take 280 South toward San Jose. Continue on 280 South to the Alpine Road
Exit (after Sand Hill Road). Make a left on Alpine Road and continue for
about one mile and then make a right at the first traffic light, onto
Junipero Serra Boulevard. Make a left at the second traffic light onto
Campus Drive (the first traffic light is also at Campus Drive). Make a left
at the second stop sign, onto Alvarado Row. Continue for one short block
(there are parking lots on both sides) and then make an immediate left onto
Nathan Abbott Way. The main parking lot is on the left and the Law School on
the right.

>From San Francisco on Highway 101
Take 101 South toward San Jose/Los Angeles. Continue on 101 South to the
Embarcadero/Oregon Expressway Exit and follow the signs to Embarcadero
West/Stanford University. Proceed on Embarcadero heading west for about 2
miles. Cross El Camino Real, Embarcadero becomes Galvez. Stay in the left
lane, proceeding straight into campus (the Stadium will be on the left).
Turn left at the first stop sign onto Campus Drive. Proceed approximately 1
mile to Alvarado Row, and turn right onto Alvarado Row. Continue for one
short block (there are parking lots on both sides) and then make an
immediate left onto Nathan Abbott Way. The parking lot is on the left and
the Law School is on the right.
