[Taocow PBEM] Chapter XVIII - Into The Heart Of Darkness - Carlos, Talas and Koba

[Flying Creature #1]
Talas's spell hits the creature's head dead-on, and its eyes are
literally stuck shut.
It begins to fly very erratically, and is clearly confused.  It
screams loudly, but can
do little else.

[Flying Creature #2]
The second flying creature notices the distress of its companion, and picks up
its speed, trying to move in front of the ailing one in an attempt to
shield it.  It
still manages to fire an energy bolt from its eyes [Strike: 13] at Carlos's
Skycycle.

[Carlos]
Carlos easily dodges the energy bolt [Dodge: 16], and in turn fires one of
his mini-missiles [Strike: 11].

The flying creature barely dodges the missile [Dodge: 12].

> With the party ready to head out Koba takes a minute of concentration before

[Flying Creature #2]
The closest flying creature, being completely blind, is unaware it even needs
to dodge, and Koba's shot hits it [Damage: 90MD].  The shot leaves visible
injuries on its body, and it banks sharply away from the source of the shock
and heads northward at stunning speeds, in apparent retreat, leaving only
its companion.
