Electronics ProjectsVarious electronics projects I'll probably never complete or even start.ThereminI've already made one, and it didn't work. I'm still in the process of collecting parts for a 2nd attempt.LED OscilloscopeI've got an old Popular Electronics lying about at home with the schematic for this. The main problem would be getting the arrays of LEDs required for this project. Oh, and I know it'd probably be easier and maybe even cheaper to get a 2nd hand oscilloscope from somewhere, but what's the fun in that?Old-school DMMSomething like this. You know, with clicky relays in it and everything. Except have it a multimeter instead of merely a voltmeter. Probably not with the light guide displays though, more likely Nixies, LEDs, or mechanical 7-segment displays.Propeller CD PlayerSomething similar to Bob Blick's propeller clock except that it would display the track info (perhaps even CDDB info) on the mechanically scanned display. In addition, the laser would be mounted on the propeller, so that the CD would remain stationary as it's being played. Probably beyond my capabilities for many years. | ||
