You missed the skirmish with the local fuzz.  They were busy harassing
one of the more clean-cut members of the 2600 crowd for being in
contempt of cop.

Badge number 1460 grabbed his hand when he pulled out a cell phone.
He demanded that the phone begiven to the police.  Mr. 2600 said no.

1460 said that this fellow was under arrest.  He then proceeded to
detain him without providing an actual arrest.  They pissed around for
quite some time, trying to scare him.  Finally, they let him go with a
receipt for his detainment ("Here is your receipt for your husband,
and here is my receipt for your receipt").

Seth and I ran up to the landing of the parking garage's stairway, and
fired up my laptop/ricochet to try and get an EFF lawyer's cell
number.  Ross came up and told us that it was over, however.

We then went the long way 'round to St. Francis Place.  We gathered in
the courtyard and then decided to head down to Max's for food.

We're going to co-ordinate with the 2600 kids to do a more organized
and informed protest next week or so.
