[Taocow PBEM] Book 3 - Chapter I

After being led down to the room, Koba is quiet trying to keep from
being sick from the near constant rocking but failing. Only the lack of food
for the past couple days has kept his stomach from emptying.
When the boat comes to a rest, he will take the opportunity to finally
remove the armor which he has been living in. Dusty, dirty, and with a few
new burn marks, the armor did its job. As the rocking settles, Koba opens up
the portable computer he carries and downloads the pictures and descriptions
of the demons he has been encountering. Adding a new and previously unknown
chapter to the compendium of demons he is composing. Even consulting his
database for any hints on this curseor disease Ted has become inflicted
with. Eventually, the compendium would benefit from a long interview with
Talas is in order to add his experience. For now, just to be able to sit in
quiet and relative safety is enough.
"Talas, I now know to trust your instinct. What do you think is going on
here? These people have saved us from a much worse situation and now we have
shown nothing but hostility." Directing his comments at the crewman, "I
think we all would like to meet the Captain, but our nerves are a little
