I was in Union Square Saturday, and came upon our man Frank. After he
changed his sign from Jefferson to Jackson, I asked him how he was
doing, and how he liked the shoes. He said they were fine (although I
noticed that they were still at least a quarter inch too long!) I
then asked him how late he worked, and he said usually until 7:30, and
then he headed to Lefty O'Doule's each day for dinner and a drink! I
said that I'd love to join him sometime for a beer, and he said, sure,
there's a big TV room in the back where he goes. I'm not kidding about
this.

Sooo, some time this week, I was planning to go to Union Square anyway
to hang some tin cans on the rear bumper of a bus, and I figure we
could call a small gathering among interested people to join Frank
afterwards for some dinner and conversation. Maybe we can get a more
complete story of what he's up to, and give him a little company after
a hard day's crusade. Does Tuesday evening sound good?
