[free-sklyarov] The bigger issue

Even if the charges against Mr. Sklyarov are dropped, the DMCA still exists.  If the case goes to trial and Mr. Sklyarov is convicted of toughtcrime (or as SOME of you like to call it, free speech) he could become a less than willing matyr.  Even if he gets off, he'll still be in jail for a few months.  What we need is a public outcry against the evils of the DMCA.
