Noe Venable (whom I heard for the first time as the opener at the Dar
Williams concert I went to this summer) is going to be playing at the
Freight and Salvage in Berkeley on September 9.  I think I liked her
music enough that I'd go to her concert on its own merits.

She opened at Dar's concert with "Juniper", which sounded even better
than this
