"It's like being in a museum, except everything is for sale."
-- Ken Lopez, at the 2001 fair

While I'm on the subject of rare book sales, I wanted to remind
everybody of the California International Antiquarian Book Fair, now
back in San Francisco. (It won't be here again until February 2007.)

This amazing fair will take place Feb. 18, 19, and 20 (different hours
each day -- Friday afternoon and evening, and Saturday and Sunday
mid-day to early evening) at the Concourse Exhibition Center, 635
Eighth Street at Brannan, here in San Francisco.

I'd like to go with people from seth-trips on Friday or Saturday.

Here are my accounts of the 2001 fair (in San Francisco) and the
2004 fair (in Los Angeles).

I also attended a different (smaller) fair in San Francisco in 2002
and 2004. I also attended the 2003 fair, but it looks like I didn't
write it up for my web diary.
