[free-sklyarov] Why is Sklyarov still in jail?

On reading the affidavit supporting the arrest warrant, it becomes obvious:

1. It ws alleged that Sklyarov had violated the DMCA, but no supporting
   proof was offered that it was violated on US soil by Sklyarov.

Why is he still in jail?  Why is the EFF sitting on its hands?  Why doesn't
someone file a writ of habeas corpus in Federal court to get this man out of
jail?  Why is he being held incommunicado?  Why is he being denied bail?

I sometimes wonder if the American people deserve to be free - they seem
