If you opted for it in 󱓮 Payment, your lodgings are included in the cost. The size of our group means that we can book our own rooms in the well-appointed hostels along the way.

You’ll be sharing a room with fellow Amsterdam Ride participants, and your bike will be securely parked at all locations.

If you would like to book your own lodgings, simply look at the ride endpoints of  The Route maps and use that as a guide. Just be aware that we will leave bright and early after breakfast at our shared lodgings.

Evenings

Riders are encouraged to shower immediately on arrival, and to spray a little cold water on tired legs to reduce cramping. Small clothes may be washed in the shower and hung to dry, reducing the amount of weight on your bike when 󱖋 Packing.

We will arrive around midday in Gent, and there is a chain of restaurants called Wasbar where you can do your laundry while eating lunch.

Mornings

We always eat a hearty breakfast before setting off in the morning. Since many of the hostels don’t serve breakfast until 7am, we usually get our bikes ready to go before then.

This is of particular importance to the 󰴻 Tortoises.
